Junior Environmental Analyst

About the job

We are currently looking for our new Junior Environmental Analyst who will support Polarium by strengthening its commitment towards fact-based external communication and product-level environmental analysis both cradle-to-gate and cradle-to-use.
The position is based in Kista, Sweden.


Responsibilities:

- Integrate and standardize environmental analysis across Polarium’s product portfolio.
- Conduct product-level environmental analysis (e.g., LCAs or carbon footprints) aligned to global environmental standards such as ISO 14040, PEFCR, and/or Product Lifecyle Accounting.
- Define a standardized way of collecting, storying, and processing environmental data.
- Review, manage and maintain environmental datasets, prepare screening tables, and summarize findings from product’s lifecycle data inventory.
- Assist corporate-level environmental analysis (i.e. Scope 3 for corporate GHG accounting).


- Assist in preparing a fact-based response to customer environmental inquiries.

Qualification and experience:

We believe that you have 1-3 years experience related to environmental analysis experience. As well as knowledge in carbon accounting, LCA methodology and LCA software.
