Job Description
Are you a creative and passionate JR/assistant Fashion Print/Graphic Designer who would love to work with prints for our young Divided customer at the H&M Head Office? Then this might be the role for you!
As part of the Divided Girls Collection Jersey team you will be responsible for assisting the Senior Print Designer working together with our Product Manager, Product Developer and Planner. You assist with the planning and development of the print picture which involves creating on trend, fun, creative commercial fashion prints including placement text/graphic prints and some repeat prints. All prints are to be in line with the division’s trends and key collections to build a strong print expression for our assortment. Our print collections are sold worldwide in all H&M markets omni channel!
The biggest focus is on graphic text /typography prints so work experience from this is key. You will work on a variation of print styles and themes including license prints. You create and update artworks, colorways and presentation material and are responsible for keeping in line with the print coordination of the collection’s pattern mix. Identifying new print trends to boost business opportunities motivates you, and you inspire the team with your findings. You live the Divided girls´ culture and the trends they absorb is the air you breath!
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
A minimum of a BA qualification in Textile/Fashion or Graphic Design
A minimum of 2-3 years work experience as a JR Print Designer/Print Design Assistant
Experience of creating varied styles of fashion garment placement, text & repeat prints
Excellent colour and illustration & drawing skills
Experience and good knowledge of textile print techniques and print supplier contacts
High speed working capacity in Adobe Suite programs
A creative and visionary mindset with a true passion for fashion, its current and future trends
A strong customer focus and enjoy working with commercial fashion
Great communication skills, flexibility and thrives working in diverse teams
Like a fast-paced and everchanging work environment
A strong self drive and can take own initiatives
English fluency (Swedish is not necessary)
License print experience is meriting
CLO 3D (or other 3D software) work experience is meriting
