Are you a creative, passionate and professional Junior Fashion Print/Graphic Designer who would love to work at the H&M Head Office in Stockholm, Sweden? We are looking for talented Junior Fashion Print/Graphic Designers for our different assortments within H&M Womens, Men’s, Kids and Divided collections as well as our Lifestyle brands which include H&M Sport and H&M Home.
The H&M Head Office is based in Stockholm, Sweden, where we design and develop our fashion & Homeware collections for a wide variety of customers globally. H&M is a dynamic international work culture where high pace and rapid changes are a natural part of our day. Job Description
Our Junior Print/ Graphic Designers at H&M are responsible for assisting the Senior Print Designers and will be designing for one of our concepts within a specific product category in either apparel, accessories, footwear, or Home products.
You will also be working together with a strong team which most often include a Pattern Maker, Designer, Planner, Buyer, Product Developer and Business Controller. As a valuable member of the team you will be involved in developing print collections sold globally in all the H&M markets and omni channels. You will be creating aspirational commercial fashion prints, including repeat, placement and license prints depending on the area. You will contribute with identifying updated latest fashion print trends for our target customer with your fresh ideas, energy, creativity and fully global perspective. Being a quick learner with good communication skills, a flexible attitude and capacity to adapt to changes, is essential. You have a genuine passion for the latest print trends both from a commercial and an aspirational standpoint. This requires high energy, strong independent drive, creativity and a new perspective. Qualifications
We believe you are a creative individual with a genuine passion for commercial & forward thinking fashion print and also have a keen eye for detail. In addition to this we are also looking for:
Professional experience:
A minimum of a BA qualification in Fashion Textile/Print or Graphic Design or equivalent
A minimum of 1-2 year’s industry experience as a Junior Fashion Print Designer
Knowledge of different print techniques & how to make technically print ready
Well experienced of creating all over repeat & placement prints/ typography prints or licensed prints for fashion garments
Excellent illustration and drawing skills
Strong skills in Adobe Creative Suite programs
3D CLO work experience is highly meriting
Personal skills
A visionary & commercial mindset staying updated on current and future trends
Strong communication skills and flexible approach
A team player who brings diverse and global perspectives
Likes a fast-paced and ever-changing work environment with parallel tasks in an organized, structured manner
Fluent in English (Swedish is not necessary)
Additional Information
