Junior First Line Support

The Position
Avalanche Studios Group is looking for a talented Junior First Line Support to join our IT department in Malmö. As the First Line support you will work with our internal first line support team to support our staff in our different studio locations. The responsibilities include troubleshooting and solving tickets, escalating tickets to our 2nd Line team, and troubleshooting and repairing client computers.
You will be a part of the IT department together with firstline and system administrators, and reporting to our Head of IT in Stockholm.
To succeed in this role you will need at least 1 year of relevant work experience, know your way around computers and how to build them but most importantly: Have a true passion for IT and Tech.
What you’ll do
Solve incoming 1st Line tickets through Jira service desk independently and in a professional way while maintaining set SLAs.
Provide on site support and troubleshoot Windows clients, hardware and software.
Execute the onboarding & offboarding, including setting up PCs and user accounts for new hires.
Create documentation of your solutions in our internal database.
Maintain our meeting rooms making sure they’re running as intended and providing a smooth user experience.
Handle purchases of hardware and software.

Who you are
1+ years of IT experience, a plus if it’s prior experience of working in a Game Development Studio.
Previous experience working with Active Directory & Google Workspace
Fluent in English, the company language, both written and verbal communication. Swedish is a plus but not a must.
A team player and able to work constructively across functions.
A pragmatic, unpretentious problem solver with strong communication skills
