At Ringtail Games, we are currently searching for a Junior Game Designer to join our gang on that mission. We are working on several exciting ideas at the moment, that will lead to new projects in development shortly. As you join our team, you will bring your own strengths and join a small group of talented individuals with complete autonomy to define what, how and why to develop.

About the role

As a Junior Game Designer for Ringtail Games, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the features and mechanics of our games, writing clear and comprehensive documentation, and actively participating in playtesting, balancing, and offering valuable feedback on new ideas. We value your fresh perspective and creativity as you collaborate closely with our talented team of artists and coders to implement innovative game features. Your day-to-day as a Junior Game Designer

Helping define features or changes to be added to the game

- Writing clear and comprehensive documentation

- Playtesting, balancing and providing feedback on new features

- Understanding the balance between new mobile game design and best practices

- Working closely with artists and coders to implement new game features

- Being creative and vocal to improve the development team and process

Requirements

- Previous experience of working in the games industry

- Experince working in Unity

- A passion for level design

- Experience working in game development either professionally or in a school
