What’s in it for you?
As a Junior Global Pricing Analyst, you will be part of the Global pricing, revenue management, and portfolio optimization team within the Global online business unit of Volvo Cars. We focus on building price structures, models, and plans to suit our customers’ needs, which can be deployed in a fully digital environment across all Volvo markets. This is a role with a global focus, covering all Volvo car markets, but with a specific focus on online direct-to-consumer sales.
You will solve challenging problems in a unique environment – blending the startup culture of the Global Online business unit and the mature business of Volvo Cars – with a talented and motivated team.
For this position, you may be located prefferably in Stockholm alt. in Gothenburg HQ.
What you will do
In this position, you will use data analytics to build and optimize pricing models and strategies and continuously analyze and benchmark pricing levels with market peers. You will also drive suggested changes to ensure Volvo remains competitive as the landscape evolves. To be able to succeed you need to understand the supply-demand dynamics of cars in stock and incoming customer orders and create pricing campaigns to balance this dynamic at all times. It also includes supporting the revenue management and portfolio optimization team within Global Online Experience.
You and your skills
To succeed in this role, we believe your background and skills include:
* Working with databases and querying
* Working with producing fact-based solutions to problems
* Fluent English
* University degree in a quantitative field (Physics, Finance, Computer Science, Engineering, etc)
