About this opportunity
We are looking for a junior engineer to design test environment hardware for radio performance verification with us at Ericsson. You are encouraged to be involved in all development activities, such as validate, handle and secure needed RF instrumentation, requirement analysis, test system design, impact analysis on existing hardware and proposals on optimization of existing solutions to meet the large variation of multiband products coming up. Product life cycle management and documentation. The role also includes working with the deployment, planning & handling of 5G OTA chamber systems ensuring that our 5G OTA chamber system portfolio is optimized and fit for purpose.

What you will do
You will work both in the conducted and OTA domain
Validate, handle and secure RF instruments for our test environment
Perform continuous analysis and requirement Handling
Perform hands-on integration and verification in lab environment
Develop test systems for performance verification of products and test scripts to define signal paths
Perform trouble shooting and customer support
Participate in test system deployments, both in Kista and other Ericsson sites, Factory Acceptance Testing and Site Acceptance Testing proceedings
Assist and participate in measurement trials including establishing Uncertainty in Measurement
Be part of the development, implementation, and maintenance of the test system Strategy for the coming years ahead for measurement capability and preparedness; ensure that it is cost effective and cost efficient
Good understanding of technical lab area and provide improvements and feedback


You will bring
A degree in Electrical or Physics Engineering or similar
High self-motivation, self-drive and be able to work independently
Demonstrated ability to solve technically complex problems
Understanding of Uncertainty in Measurement
Analytical approach and be result oriented with ability to deliver under pressure. Be innovative, adaptive, and respond well to change
A focus on results and to find it stimulating to work with organizational change and collaboration across the organization
Excellent English skills both verbal & written and in handling relations


Good to have
Knowledge of different instruments for test environment is an advantage
RF experience, knowledge of radio components such as power amplifiers, DCs, filters, switches, RF Cables etc is an advantage
