Nasdaq is now looking for a Junior Internal Auditor to join our team in Stockholm. You will be a part of the Internal Audit team located in both Stockholm and Vilnius.


With this position we offer


Working closely with the core business lines at Nasdaq, the Internal Audit team evaluates internal controls to ensure the company has appropriate controls in place to mitigate the risks that could affect the viability of our business. The Internal Audit team focuses on two areas; Business Auditing and Technology Auditing. As our Junior Internal Auditor, you will support the team in projects related to Nasdaqs businesses, financial records and regulatory responsibilities.


Your role and responsibilities


In this role, you will:


Be responsible for developing, planning and evaluating internal audit programs for Nasdaqs accounting, business operations, related technology systems and the activities of various departments to ensure compliance with the organization's policies, procedures and standards.


Ensure the effectiveness of internal controls in compliance with corporate objectives and government standards, such as Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) or other regulatory driven control frameworks.


Provide support in executing and reporting on the qualityand effectiveness of controls across all risk creating areas including, but not limited to operations, finance, regulatory, technology, M&A, and clearing.


Support the team in carrying out testing and documentation, and draw conclusions on testing samples


Provide an educated and consultative approach when counseling smart control recommendations.


We expect you to have:


Degree in Business Administration, Information Security, Systems Development, Law or other related discipline.


Some years of experience from auditing or accounting


Strong analytical skills with a curious mindset


Highly organized and structured in the way you work


Excellent communications in English both written and spoken


It would be great if you have:


Professional auditing and/or technicalcertifications (CIA, CISA)and ortechnical and operational experience is a merit.
