We’ve just hit a growth spurt and are on the lookout for a Internal IT-support to join our motley crew of curious, growth minded and all around nice people.
About the role
We are looking for someone to handle our internal IT support. You have either just finished an IT programme from a school for higher vocational education (e.g Yrkeshögskolan), or you are self-taught with 1-2 years of experience from a similar position. Your job will be to provide internal technical support to maintain our computer systems, both hardware and software to ensure optimal performance so that our employees can maintain a high level of productivity.
Things you’ll be responsible for
- Buy and keep track of hardware, such as laptops and mobile phones
- Help install needed software on both Windows and Mac
- Set up basic structures and policies surrounding IT
- Troubleshoot when someone has computer problems, whether it's logging in, trouble getting on the network, or the printer is refusing to print
- Provide 1st line support and report problems to 2nd line and keep track of the issue until it's resolved
- Create, delete and change accounts in the systems we use internally
- Inform new hires about computer practices
Things you are really good at
- Communication
- Troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Windows and Mac
- Knowledge of Linux would be an asset
- To structure and organize
And you are definitely
- Fluent in English
- Someone with 1-2 year experience from a similar role or a recent graduate from YH education
