Junior IT Technician to Mobile Arts

Mobile Arts is a well-established product company in the telecom industry and offers its customers high-tech software solutions. Among the products are their proprietary and industry-leading system for mobile location services as well as professional service to ensure a high level of quality. Mobile Arts is a company at the forefront of mobile telecom software development, including Tre, Telenor, Telia, Tele2 and other major operators around the world. Mobile Arts is an internationally established company with around 40 customers in Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and the Americas.

The head office is located on Södermalm in Stockholm and in total, about thirty employees currently work at the company. The IT team consists of 3 people, some of whom are based in Uppsala. They will be your closest colleagues even if you start from the office in Stockholm. This is because Mobile Arts sees the need to support the IT team from its local office in Stockholm.

ARBETSUPPGIFTER
The role includes supporting the IT manager with various tasks within IT. You work closely with the IT manager but have independent responsibility for your cases and tasks. Over time, the tasks will become more advanced and in the long run also include some support of your customers' cases as well.

For example, you will:


* Help colleagues with IT support, administering, maintaining and expanding the existing IT environment and supporting everyday matters.
* New installations, updates and maintenance both internally and in the customer's IT environment.
* To some extent, help the customer with troubleshooting and support in case of problems or in certain cases.


VI SÖKER DIG SOM
- Have a post-secondary education in computer science, IT, network or an equivalent field that is deemed equivalent
- Have experience of working in a Linux environment from studies, hobby projects or other practical experience
- Have a genuine interest in working in Linux environments
- Have very good knowledge of English

It is a merit if you:


* Have experience of working with system administration , network or other similar service in IT
* Have a relevant certification, for example RHCSA, CCNA or simular
* Have knowledge in Swedish
