About Xensam

About the role
As a Junior Legal Counsel at Xensam you will develop and maintain Xensam's privacy program. While you are expected to independently manage your tasks, you will work closely with, and be supported by, the Head of Legal. Depending on your own personal career goals, this role can be heavily tailored to facilitate your growth in the direction you desire.
Responsibilities

Monitor compliance with relevant legislation as well as monitor the legal development on the field.
- Advise all functions of Xensam including senior management on personal data-related issues, including advising on data protection impact assessments, audits, incident response planning, policy and procedure development and training.
- Draft privacy related documentation, including engaging with Xensam's customers and partners in negotiating DPA:s and similar.
- Advise and assist in other legal matters as required by the business from time to time.
Qualifications
- A degree of Master of Laws (sv. Juristexamen/Jur.Kand) from a Nordic university is required.
- Preferably 1-2 years of post-graduation professional experience in a similar or adjacent role.
- Solid and demonstratable knowledge of GDPR and other relevant legislation, preferably from the perspective of a B2B-SaaS company.
- Excellent drafting and communications skills in Swedish and English.
- High integrity and sense of responsibility.
- Genuine interest in tech and privacy.
- Strong business and service mindset.
