Junior M&A Manager - Sandvik Machining Solutions

You’ll join a team working closely with our divisions in their drive for add-on acquisitions and increased M&A activity, and we believe that with your expertise and excellent way of collaborating you’ll be the one amplifying our capacity to run multiple projects in parallel.
Your job
As our junior M&A Manager, you’re responsible for analysis and execution in all stages from screening to integrating companies. In the mission to work in all parts of a transaction and bring it to a successful outcome, you act in close collaboration with your peers in your senior M&A team. You take important roles in several projects and are a driving force that ensures momentum and quality throughout the process.
Being a critical part in the M&A process, you support negotiations, due diligence and coordination with all internal stakeholders. In addition, you closely work with and manage external stakeholders such as investment banks, consulting firms and other partners. As an area expert, you’re of course able to collect information and draw conclusions from all necessary analysis required in any M&A transaction, with emphasis on deep understanding of accounting and valuation. Just as important as working closely with Sandvik Machining Solutions’ divisions, is being a partner to our quite newly formed business area segment Sandvik Manufacturing Solutions, focusing on software and additive manufacturing.
The location for this position is Stockholm, Sweden.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a few years of solid M&A experience from a leading investment banking or management consulting firm or similar. It’s also advantageous with a background in a similar M&A role within a global matrix organization. Previous experience from the manufacturing industry or the technology sector is beneficial. As we’re a global player, you communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
