Junior Mechanical Design Engineers

The Rosemount TankRadarABdivision of Emerson Process Management is a leading provider of radar-based level and tank gauging solutions for the marine, oil & gas and process industry markets.[ Founded in 1976, the company has a turnover of over 1 billion kr and employs over 400 people worldwide.[ To support rapid growth and expansion into new areas, we are adding a number of new positions in R&D, purchasing, service and other areas.[ The company is owned by Emerson (NYSE:EMR), an American company with over 128,000 employees and $US20 billion in sales.[ The mechanical engineering group comprises several teams.Each team develops mechanical products for a certain market.In these positions you will take on development of mechanical components for current and future products.Key activities in this job are CAD modelling, drawing creation/updates, test, manufacturability, interaction with suppliers and qualification of incoming material.Our products are installed in very challenging environments.They can be subjected to environmental properties such as temperatures between -200 and +400°C, pressures ranging from vacuum to 345 bar, and atmospheres containing salty mists, various chemicals, or sticky products.We use aluminium, stainless steel (316 and other Ni-alloys) and PTFE in our designs.Other materials such as ceramics and plastic are also used. To apply for these positions you need to have a Masters, or Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or materials science.We think you are a young engineer in the beginning of your career with a genuine interest in technology and design.You should either be fresh out from the university or have 1-2 years of industry experience.You are familiar with Pro/E, Pro/Intralink and AutoCAD.You need to have the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and enjoy taking ownership of your assignments with minimal supervision.You are used to and enjoy working in a team environment.You have excellent oral and written communication skills, both in Swedish and English.One of the positions are placed in Gothenburg, the other one could be placed in either Gothenburg or in Linköping.[ Please apply by using the apply button or the link below, no later than May 20th.
