Junior Mechanical Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to design and document electrical and automation solutions in packaging machinery. 


Role description: 
A Mechanical Engineer consultant provide efficient mechanical solutions to the development of processes and products. The consultant can work on all stages of a product, from research and development to design and manufacture, through to installation and final commissioning. Tasks will generally include: 
- design, specification and calculation of the construction equipment; 
- developing, testing and evaluating theoretical designs; 
- supporting the organisation by drafting the lay-out, specifications and budget; 
- assisting during the mechanical installation of equipment on site; 
- troubleshooting when there are problems in the field and/or during production.


Job description: 


The candidate needs to work well in a design team as well as being able to drive activities individually. The assignment will include all phases of projects from concept studies and development to life cycle projects. This role demands ability to make optimized solutions in several areas including economy, safety, reliability, quality and sustainability. 


The role requires no or very limited travel. 


Required skills: 
- PTC Creo, 4-12 månader
- PDMLink 4-12 månader
- Microsoft Office 4-12 månader


Preferred skills: 
- SAP 
- Basic knowledge in automation, 
- Basic knowledge in electrical design 
- Previous experience from the food process industry
