Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.


Cab development is working to adapt and develop our current modularized toolbox for greater flexibility and fit for an uncertain future. Technology leaps such as electrification, sustainability, Autonomous drive, and Advanced driver-assistance systems redefine our product from the basis. In addition, the Cab domain's ambition is to increase our synergies and cooperation with other brands within the TRATON group as well as with other departments & sectors within Scania. 

We are now looking for a Junior Mechanical Integration Engineer with an interest in the cab and vehicle Industry, who can support the Cab Domain in the development of new parts and solutions.

Your Role
Your tasks will be to help find solutions related to modularisation, standardization, integration, layout, and packaging within the cab.  Taking part in optimizing trade-offs between different parameters for the cabin in synergy with the complete vehicle. Be part of the integration of cab components. Solve problems within the cab domain, and cooperate with design responsibles and cross functions.

The Scania / MAN / Navistar / Traton network connections are going to be part of your normal day.
You will use Catia as a basis for communication within the complex project with many involved people.
You will own descriptions of interfaces between parts and need to be or learn to be familiar with Scanias PLM systems.

Your Profile
We are looking for you with an interest in mechanical integration work within the vehicle industry.
You need the ability to quickly switch between details and a holistic view. 
Ability to work together with a team of engineers to solve complex integration tasks.
The ambition to bridge the gaps between organizations, responsibilities, and processes to reach a result is crucial for you to succeed in this role. 


• Previous work within the field is a merit
• Knowledge of CAD system and PLM systems is a merit
• Master in science or bachelor in science degree is of merit.
