About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Junior Physical Safety Engineer, who will be responsible for design, build and test modules or principals which can be included in Polarium’s products or systems. The role includes responsibilities for test facilities. This position is based at the Polarium HQ in Kista. Occasional travel required in Sweden and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Participation and support of research initiatives for physical safety of our products, on a cell- module- and system level;
- Key participant in research efforts within the physical safety area and in pre-studies of new applications and technologies;
- Build and test solutions for physical safety;
- Support certification testing (UL, CSA, ETL etc.);
- Responsible for documentations and reports.
Are you the one?
We are looking for a self-driven and pro-active person who is keen to learn, is inquisitive and seeks new knowledge within the area. You should have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar positions, and demonstrable knowledge with agile development and enjoy fast growing cooperate environment.
Qualifications and experience:
- A background in mechanical engineering, combustion engineering, thermodynamics, or other relevant expertise;
- Experience using application specific software tools;
- Experience with batteries and ESS systems development;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written;
- Swedish work permit.
