Participating in teams solving particularly complex strategic problems around pricing.
Following up and understanding the claims development process.

Negotiating agreements with our distribution partners.
What about you?
Since we are a small group of people building price models for tens of thousands of customers, we have high expectations on your academic achievement, knowledge, and experience. We think your profile could look like this:
You have 0-2 years of experience as a pricing analyst or a similar position, if you just graduated the tasks will be adjusted based on your experience level.
You are more than comfortable with extracting and manipulating complex data with SQL and/or other tools, such as Python or R.
You have a master's degree in insurance mathematics, statistics, technical physics, industrial engineering or any other degree that has advanced qualitative statistics.
Good to have:
Having a deeper understanding of developing and validating machine learning models is a plus, but not a must!
Experience or knowledge of predictive analysis models, general linear modelling, regression analysis.
Experience in insurance is not a hard requirement! We are looking for great analytical skills that can be applied to pricing and you think you can do a remarkable job, apply and send an email to us motivating why we should meet you.
What about us?
As part of the Hedvig team, you will quickly notice that "general truths" are not accepted without being questioned. We're an enthusiastic group of people who love to challenge each other to find the best way forward. We don't care who says something, we care about what's being said.
We put a lot of effort into building a trusting culture where freedom, collective thinking, and individual ownership have center stage. We're not perfect – far from it – but we talk about and learn from our mistakes and imperfections to continuously get better. As individuals, as a team, and as a company. And we have a lot of fun along the way!
