Job Description
Are you a Junior Print Designer who have great passion for the Kids Boys customer? Do you enjoy working in high tempo and with different types of products on a daily basis? Then this might be the role for you! We look for a Boys Junior Print Designer who wants to be part of the amazing Kids Boy print hub.
As a Junior Print Designer at the Boys department you will work in our print team with prints for our wide range of Boys wear, from head to toe, ages 2-8 target group; cute, fun and cool print expressions! A great chance to get the experience and learn to work with a wide variety of products and materials and utilize your full print creativity. You work closely with the responsible print designers to develop prints for our collections in all our global markets.
We strongly value a genuine interest and understanding of the H&M Boys print handwriting and aesthetics, which is of highest importance for the commercial success. It’s a creative, international and developing work environment! This is a temporary 1 year temporary role based on site in our H&M Head office in Stockholm, Sweden.


Qualifications
You are creative and playful with a great eye for upcoming Boys fashion trends. You are positive, energetic and able to channel this in your daily work. You probably work as a junior/assistant print designer for kids boys wear today or have a great passion to do so.
You have a BA/MA in Textile/Fashion Print (or graphic) design
Have good knowledge and experience of different print techniques/ textile design
Have print work experience creating repeat as well as placement prints
Typography and graphic text print work experience and knowledge is desirable
Like to create fun and commercial photoprints
Highly skilled in Adobe Suite especially Photoshop
3D CLO knowledge is meriting
Are customer focused, has an entrepreneurial mindset & keen to understand the H&M Boys target group
You can work at a fast pace and with parallel tasks simultaneously with ease
Great communications skills are key
Are a driven team player as well as can take own initiative

Submit your application attaching CV and design portfolio pdf (max 10mb/uploading), with relevant print work; including vision/mood boards, full design process and final collections and products from a variety of fashion print design projects. (If you are a current designer working for H&M; you do not need to include design portfolio) Do not send any cover letter as we wish to mitigate any unintentional bias in our recruitment process. Deadline is 22nd Oct (assessment is done continously throughout the advertising period)
