We are now looking to strengthen our Hard Goods R&D team with a Product Designer. This is a fulltime position located in the Stockholm office.

Tasks
As a Product Designer at POC, you will be involved in the development process of POC products. The role is a part of the Hard Goods Team.

You will be surrounded by highly skilled colleagues with a solid track record of innovation and design at the highest international level, but humble enough to appreciate new ideas where your creativity and drive will have a clear impact on the team’s deliverables. The Product Designer will work with everything from concepts to mass production in a team with project managers, mechanical engineers, aerodynamic experts, suppliers of material and the producing factory.

As a designer in the Hard Goods Team, you work with the design of one or more projects at a time. Everything from concepts and sketches to 3D modeling for next step, surface modeling made by the Studio Engineers.

You will have the opportunity (during non-pandemic circumstances) to travel in this role, mainly for production related visits, but also to visit trade shows a few times a year and visits to the US office.

Your profile
We believe that the person we are looking for:

- is a skilled industrial designer that is a determined problem-solver with a rigorous attention to details.
- has a passion for materials and material exploration.
- is practical and like to build mockup prototypes by hand.
- has good skills in 3D software.
- has a passion for materials and material exploration.


As a person, we believe that you are positive, committed to what you do and a good communicator. We believe that a product designer, that also is a user, is a benefit so if you have an interest in alpine skiing, snowboarding, road/mountain biking it is a plus.

Qualifications
Industrial Design Degree required, 0-3 years of work experience, Written and spoken English.

It is a bonus if you have the following
Written and spoken Swedish. An interest in sports. Knowledge in 3D modeling software and Adobe CS.
