With deep roots in music, art, architecture and what is contemporary, Axel Arigato has defined itself by offering more than a product. It has been created to leave an experience at the front of mind, whether it’s via stores, online or through events.
Axel Arigato currently has 6 stores, including London, Copenhagen, Stockholm and Gothenburg with more pending. Expanding from 2 people to now hiring over 65 members of staff in 4 years, Axel Arigato also operates a subsidiary office in London.

What we are offering:
We are offering an exciting opportunity as a Junior Product Developer at our Gothenburg HQ. When working with us you can expect working with great colleagues in a rapidly expanding fashion company, where every day brings it unique challenges and possibilities. In other words - you will not get bored.
We are looking for an ambitious and hardworking Product Developer to be a part of our expanding clothing and accessory team. The ideal candidate it self-going, structured and organized, as well as creative and with a good sense for commercial yet interesting products. Previous working experience within high-end fashion companies as a Product Developer or within production is considered a big plus.
You will work in close collaboration with the Product Manager, Head Designer and Creative Director. Interacting with colleagues in all other departments throughout the company is also expected. We are looking for you who consider yourself to be a collaborative and openminded individual with a strong interest in fashion and who wants to grow with us, long term.
What you will do:
• Daily and close communication with suppliers via email and phone
• Material sourcing and buying
• Arrange and lead fittings of samples
• Sample handling
• Price negotiations with suppliers
• Margin calculation and analysis
• Set up and update product spec sheets and measurement lists
• Work in our PLM business system, as well as Excel, Illustrator, InDesign, Navision etc.
• Quality control and close collaboration with our Quality and CSR coordinator
• Update collection overviews and boards
• Close communication with other departments such as Design, Operations, Logistic, Marketing and PR
What we are looking for:
• A person with a genuine interest in fashion and a sense of commercial yet interesting products
• Self-going, structured and organized personality
• Flexible and open-minded with a positive mindset
• Strong administration skills (PLM system, InDesign, Office program etc)
• Excellent communication skills
• Fluent in English. Other language skills are beneficial
• 1-2 years’ working experience within product development/production
• Experience of working in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines
