Junior QA Analyst - Mobile

Do you want to have a direct impact on the success of Star Stable Online? We are now looking for a Junior QA Analyst (Mobile). We believe that you are a team player with a thirst for knowledge and a positive attitude. It is vital that you are able to convey information with clarity and ease, so good communication skills are a must-have. We also expect you to be a creative problem solver and a quick learner.

As QA at Star Stable you will participate in release/feature sign-off to ensure the quality bar of our product is upheld. You will also be encouraged to propose improvements to our existing processes in order to improve the team’s speed, quality and efficiency. You will work closely with our developers and other QA. Are you prepared to take us on?

As QA at Star Stable you will be:

- Creating, executing, and following up on test cases
- Conducting functional QA testing
- Ensuring that quality issues and defects are identified, documented and resolved in the defect tracking system (Jira)
- Clearly explaining, both verbally and in writing, the results of various tests that you conduct
- Attending meetings with development teams
- Proposing design improvements and advocating for quality throughout the development cycle
- Creatively trying to break our game before our users do


Must haves:

- Relevant education in game development and/or prior experience from the gaming industry
- Analytical skills
- Must be detail oriented and able to prioritize tasks
- Fluent in English, written and spoken


Nice to haves:

- Experience with bug tracking systems - experience with Jira preferred
- Experience in functional testing
- Scripting or programming knowledge
- SQL skills
- Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases
