Junior Security Engineer

Storytel is Northern Europe's largest audiobook streaming service and we’re now looking for a security engineer to join the team! Storytel’s vision is to make the world a more empathic and creative place with great stories to be shared and enjoyed anytime, anywhere by anyone.

About the Role

You will work with (and report to) the head of security David Karlsson (ex-spotify & klarna security engineering), and help shape the future of Storytel. Being a small organization nothing is fixed, and there is a great opportunity to try new ideas, and to be creative. Some examples of activities you will be exposed to are.

- Application Security & Secure Development
- Intrusion Detection

- Security Awareness


About You

To be successful in this role we believe that you have

️Eagerness to learn about all things related to security

️Software development/engineering experience in Python/Java

Solid knowledge about web security

🇧Excellent at writing and speaking English
