Junior & Senior Buyers

ValueOne is looking for buyers with different seniority and experience for shorter assignments within the automotive industry in Gothenburg. The assignments are to be filled as soon as possible.

The role  

The roles span from operational to strategic level. You will be responsible for the purchasing process including direct contact with suppliers, where it is your task to create long-term and sustainable business relationships. 

Main tasks:

Act as main contact for commercial issues towards the suppliers base for running production.
Negotiate commercial and time consequences at suppliers connected to design changes in vehicle projects.
Lead price negotiations, during program phase as well as running production changes.
Participate in cross functional teams within Engineering, Quality and Manufacturing.
Drive continuous improvement activities within purchasing and suppliers.
Support yearly commercial negotiations with the objective to reduce cost and price for the area.
Administration work involves transactions, updating price files, reporting of performance.
Carry out market test analysis and benchmarking studies.

Experience and competencies  

The candidate we are looking for should have a university degree in purchasing, logistics or another relevant field of education, or equivalent work experience. You must be skilled at working strategically and used to driving negotiations. Good planning skills and ability to prioritize are needed. Since the role requires that you work in direct contact with the suppliers and other stakeholders we assume that you are a relationship oriented person with excellent communication skills.
