Junior Software Embedded Engineer

This is a position for you who have some years’ experience or is newly graduated, but most of all have great skills in C embedded programming. You have a burning interest for enabling our customers Internet of Things end products to be connected. You have an engineering education in software design and embedded connected hardware as well as an understanding of wireless network communication. You will be part of a nice and dedicated software embedded team at u-blox in Malmö Västra Hamnen.
In this role, you will have the possibility to grow your skills in a specific technical area which you select yourself. You will work together with developer-, application-, hardware- and software quality engineers in an agile approach with use of agile tools and methods.
You are a self-going individual with a positive attitude and a drive to take on challenging task, the team will support you, we are very helpful to each other. It´s important for us to have a sustainable working environment which makes room for normal working hours and we offer a hybrid model which gives you a possibility to work remotely from home.
We are working with applications, above the low-level Wi-Fi or BT drivers, including MQTT, TLS, TCP/IP, as well as cloud services, security ciphers, BT/Wi-Fi positioning, secure storage/boot, device management, mobile applications and coming technology are firmware over the air and machine learning. If you have experience in Security, Bluetooth or Wi-Fi based protocols this is an extra plus.
Your Responsibilities
Software designer and developer in C for embedded, real-time systems 
Software developer in C# for test automation 
Support project planning and management in an agile environment 
Contribute to architectural decisions and the software roadmap 

Your Skills and Experience 
Master or Bachelor of Science in software engineering 
Wireless communication knowledge in general, Bluetooth and/or Wi-Fi in particular
Experience in C programming of embedded, real-time systems 
Good interpersonal and communication skills
English communication and technical writing
Holder of a Swedish work permit
