ValueOne is looking for a Junior Electricity Sourcing Manager skilled in programming for a six month assignment in Stockholm, starting March 1st.
The role
In the role as Junior Electricity Sourcing Manager you will be a part of a team with the main responsibility to forecast and source the company´s physical electricity purchase. The company has the most advanced product portfolio for electricity sourcing in the Nordics. The team is also responsible for the physical trading services and all products related to demand-response and customer flexibility.
Main tasks:
Work with systems and forecasting tools and secure data quality and data flows in order to make as accurate forecast as possible.Send bids and make sure necessary information is spread to the customer and internal systems for invoicing.Customer contact regarding their forecasts.Assisting Sales with sales/customer support and pricing.Other tasks may include: Invoicing and follow up of demand response services.
Experience and competence
The assignment requires knowledge of data management and good analytical skills. You must be meticulous with numbers and we prefer you to have experience from programming or data modelling (e.g. Python, SQL, Visual Basics). Furthermore, knowledge in the platform Nord Pool is required. Fluency in English and Swedish, both verbally and written, is a prerequisite for the role. It is meritorious to have knowledge of the electricity market and a background from business administration or similar.
