Junior Sourcing Manager to the IT Category

We are looking for a Junior IT Sourcing Manager to join Telia Company strategic IT Sourcing team.

Telia is in a process of change and transformation, not least when it comes to driving the company’s sourcing activities. There is a long history of decentralized sourcing where each respective market and country has had a large say regarding choice of suppliers, products, services etc.
An important part of Telia’s journey of change will be to centralize and integrate strategic sourcing. One of the goals is to fully leverage the potential of a centrally driven sourcing process where larger cross category projects will be driven from the newly established Common Products and Services (CPS) organization.

What will you do?
As a Junior IT Sourcing Manager at Telia you are involved in different sized sourcing projects through the whole sourcing process. You will assist Telia’s IT department with contracting, supplier onboarding and administrative tasks while doing so in a collaborative way. You will be part of a smaller sub category team together with Senior Sourcing Managers enabling you to build up competence in a specific IT domain while working on both IT Software and IT Services cases.
Who are you?
To excel in this role, you’re most likely in the beginning of your career, after successfully graduated with a degree in Engineering, Business or Economics. You have a genuine interest for the telecom, technology and IT business and the drive to become a skilled IT Sourcing Manager. You have an organized and structured way of working, including planning and following up on activities and you always apply a fact-based decision making.
Your personality:


Self-driven with good communication and presentation skills
Team player with a “can do” attitude who easily integrates in an existing team.
Analytical and good organizational skills.

Your experience:


Up to two years’ experience from either sourcing, supply chain or supplier management, preferably in an international environment.
Master’s degree in Engineering, Business or Economics.
Proficient knowledge of both written and spoken English. Nordic or Baltic language is a merit.
