Junior Strategic Project Lead to Swedbank’s Group Strategy Team

- Be a key part in driving and facilitating the development of the bank’s strategy, operating model, and efficient execution of the strategy in close dialogue and cooperation with all areas cross the Group.

- Lead the development of the Group’s Strategic Direction as well as analyse and prepare decision material for Swedbank’s group executive management and Board of Directors.

- Facilitate strategic execution across the group by developing the bank’s execution plan, driving annual tactical business & transformation planning, and establishing targets as well as follow-up of Swedbank’s strategy and delivery of the plan

- Support and work closely with the CEO, deputy CEO and CFO on various engagements.

- Tackle miscellaneous ad-hoc and problem-solving tasks on group level across a broad range of themes.

- Engage with colleagues across the whole organization on topics related to business development, organisational design, finance, investor relations, sustainability, and technology.

What is needed in this role:

- Curiosity and interest in strategy development, steering and translating strategy into effective execution as well as developing and performing execution planning, steering, and follow-up in a large organisation

- Drive and willingness to learn and develop, a solution-oriented mindset and the ability to challenge and facilitate the right contextual priorities

- 1-3 years of experience from a role such as management consulting, strategic business development or business planning, PMO, corporate strategy, investment banking or similar

- Project management capabilities with ability to plan, manage, and execute combined with stakeholder management skills

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word

- Previous experience from the banking-/financial services industry and its transformation is meritorious but not a pre-requisite
