Thule Sweden AB is based in Hillerstorp, Sweden, and develops, manufactures and distributes roof racks, ski carriers and bike carriers.

We are expanding our Design Department within Business Area Outdoor & Bags Rest of World by adding both a Junior Industrial Designer and a Junior Surface Designer to the team.

As a Junior Surface Designer you will take a lead in the surface modelling and secure the quality on product surfaces and parts. Your main focus will be to support the rest of the design team in digitally realizing their visual and functional ideas, as well as safe guarding that outcome throughout the development projects. You will work in close cooperation with our development department and provide them with feedback on surfaces?, part execution and quality.

We are looking for a self- motivated team player who brings a positive attitude and a cooperative mindset. You have a detail oriented and structured approach and feel comfortable working towards deadlines. In addition you are familiar with relevant manufacturing processes and how they pertain to product design. This role requires an understanding of design principles and a well-developed aesthetic sense as well as training, experience and a genuine interest in 3D CAD packages with a focus on surfacing, preferably from SolidWorks. You are fluent in Swedish and English and have an appropriate academic degree combined with a couple of years? experience from a similar role.
