As a junior systems engineer, you will be a part of the water technologies and water systems team; it’s an R&D team that resides in the Renal care business unit. Within the team we manage both existing water systems on the field as well as development of new therapy systems. It is a diverse team with different backgrounds and expertise’s such as chemical engineers, system engineers, SW engineers, and manufacturing engineers. The team currently consists of 10 full time employees and 5 consultants.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Embrace accountability for technical deliverables that are a part of larger projects
Contribute to design concepts and research methodologies that meet current and future customer & business needs
Drive solutions to technical problems utilizing engineering tools (e.g. DFSS, FMEA, DoE, Statistical data analysis, etc.)
Develop awareness of FDA, ISO and IEC design control procedures, regulations and standards within area of responsibility
Qualifications
We are looking for someone with a strong drive and with a flair for problem solving. You should have an open mindset, be curious and always seek to expand your knowledge base.
Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree
Graduates or 1-2 years of working experience
Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
Valuable skillsets can include:
Experience with development and systems engineering tools (e.g. MATLAB Simulink State flow and Minitab)
Interest in water purification technologies
Experience from working in an environment that complies to ISO 13485
