We are currently seeking a Strategic Talent Sourcer to join our Recruiting team as an intern. This is an exciting opportunity for anyone interested in a career in Human Resources within an organization that will provide opportunities for growth.
You will report directly to leadership. You will work with recruiting/hiring managers to fully understand their needs and generate candidate leads utilizing passive resources and effectively screening candidates.
What this Job Involves:
- Identifies external talent from a variety of sources.
- Serves as a resource to recruiters and hiring managers to find and cultivate candidates.
- Gathers data around competition and market conditions or trends that may impact our ability to find and hire the right talent
- Challenges the status quo through meaningful data that informs a better and stronger recruiting process.
- Demonstrates skill in recruiting research methods which will primarily focus on name generation. May include cold calling depending on role.

- Familiarizes the recruiting team with opportunities and mediums to find talent, keeping cost and quality in mind at all times.
- Builds strong relationships with candidates to develop a strong virtual bench and create a world class candidate experience.
- Represents AEP Talent externally as a cultural steward with the utmost integrity and strong focus on quality relationships.
- Creates a strong brand identity through the use of AEP Talent's social media platform
- Creates marketing materials and looks for opportunities to brand AEP Talent in new markets as well as in the areas of highest demand
