Junior Treasury Analyst

Saab is looking for a Junior Treasury Analyst that will be part of Saab Group Treasury. Initially, you will work at Middle Office that supports both the Saab pension fund and Saab Treasury with risk management, analysis and system maintenance. The Group Treasury function is the Saab Group's in-house bank and is responsible for managing the Group's financial exposures: Trade & Export Finance, Pension fund (Saab Pensions stiftelse), Insurance and Treasury.

Your role

As a junior Treasury analyst, you will be a part of a highly skilled and driven team. You will initially receive training and support to enable you to grow into, and with, the role. Initially you will focus on valuation of financial instruments, daily monitoring of risk limits and system maintenance. The role comes with the possibility for personal development and the opportunity to broaden within different areas of Treasury but also areas such as, sustainability, compliance and financial systems that will have an increased footprint within the department going forward.

The main tasks are:

* Daily monitoring, reconciliation and reporting of risk limits
* Super user in Quantum, our Treasury Management System
* Valuation of financial instruments and financial portfolios
* Ad hoc portfolio analysis both for Saab Pension fund and Saab Treasury
* Participation in process improvements and projects
* Support accounting in month end closing

Your profile

To be successful in this position we anticipate that you have a great interest in finance and have a University degree preferably from Financial Engineering, Banking and Finance, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Information System or similar discipline. Good understanding of financial investment and risk modeling is required. Further, the position requires good system knowledge and experience in programming and database maintenance is advantageous- and or something you find interesting and are eager to learn.

As a person, you have a high analytic ability and can prioritize effectively; further, you are proactive and eager to learn and explore. You must be able to handle a diverse amount of tasks and thrives in a high pace environment. You are service minded and have good communication skills preferably both in Swedish and English. We see that you are just finalizing you university studies or have one or two years of working experience from a similar role.

Required skills:

* Bachelor / Master Degree Holder, from Financial Engineering, Banking and Finance, Computer Science, Quantitative Finance, Information System or similar disciplines
* Excellent communication skills in English, verbal and written
* Solid understanding of financial instruments, valuation there of and risk modelling

Desired skills:

* Good knowledge in system and database maintenance (or motivated and interested to learn)
* Experience from Programming
* Highly committed and motivated to learn in the Financial Market
* Interest in sustainability and compliance from a Finance perspective
