Are you passionate about games, research, and how to best combine the two? Then come join the User Research team at Paradox Interactive! It is a perfect opportunity to grow in the User Research field while helping us make our games better!
Your Mission
As a Junior User Researcher you will learn the ins & outs of user research and how it fits into the gaming development process. You will also gain hands-on experience in conducting studies, analysing data and providing actionable insights to our game teams, helping you become familiar with the tools and techniques in the field. Observing and working alongside more experienced researchers will provide you with strong examples and approaches to emulate as you take on more responsibility.
The User Research team at Paradox carries out user experience research for all of our products, both developed and published by Paradox. Our team consists of six researchers and you will work across a range of Paradox games and products. This will involve supporting the moderation and observation of user tests and maintaining the lab. You will also be responsible for contributing your observations and insights to the creation of user test reports, and helping to analyse raw data from sources including surveys and playtests to generate actionable insights for the product and marketing teams. In addition, you will assist in writing user research reports and communicating the insights you gather to game teams or other stakeholders at Paradox Interactive.
This is an important role that will require strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities. If you are passionate about user research and love games, then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
