We are looking for a junior WPF and C# enthusiast that want to build software characterized by top quality and excellent usability.
RaySearch develops state-of-the-art software used by doctors, nurses, and physicists all over the world, to treat cancer patients. Our organization is expanding, and we are looking for a developer with an eye for improving GUI and interaction design. Someone who cares about usability and the look and feel of the software.
About the role
As a junior C#/WPF developer in the UX team you will team up with a senior frontend developer and join the UX team’s mission to create systems providing excellent usability and an outstanding user experience. You will be trained in the software techniques so that you eventually can support the development organization with your WPF design skills. With other developers, you will share knowledge, do pair programming, provide best practice, perform code reviews and training. In the UX team, you work closely with UX and visual designers to fine-tune UIs in existing products as well as creating new reusable UI components and occasionally new features and applications.
Your responsibilities will be to:
• Team up with senior developer as apprentice
• Support an agile software development organization in building medical device classified software
• Continuously refine our market-leading UI and UX
• Occasionally integrate into other scrum teams to help them build UI intense features
• Create and maintain a component library as a part of our design system
You will be expected to handle tasks with increasing complexity as you grow.

Experience and skills
Essential:
• BSc or MSc degree in computer science, engineering, or other related field.
• Knowledge of object oriented programming.
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English.
Meriting:
• Knowledge of C#.
• Knowledge of WPF.
• Knowledge about usability heuristics and general GUI design guidelines.
• Ability to rapidly learn new things on your own.
• Experience with Agile software development using Scrum.
