Job Description


Are you an experienced Junior Designer? Do you have a great sense for women’s fashion and upcoming trends? We are looking for you who want to be a part of this fantastic journey designing for our most fashion forward collections!
You will work with the function New Development at the H&M head office. With these collections and collaborations, we want to surprise the customer; with the theme, the products and in how we present the collections. You will be an important part of bringing in new, fashion forward ideas to the team. You assist with creating the best assortment according to analysis of most relevant trends of the moment and ahead. You will work with our women’s collections including full style ranges in woven, knit and more.




Qualifications


We look for:
You with a true sense for and high level of understanding future fashions and understanding of how it can be applied commercially to develop our products. At New Development, things always change quickly and you work well in a flexible and adaptable every-changing environment. You easily see the value of adapting to meet the target goals and the customer is always top of mind for you.
Qualifications:
An experienced Junior Fashion Designer (assistant), with min 1-2 yrs work experience from product design and product development in high fashion trend level areas/brands
Strong research skills and a highly developed sense of fashion trends, brands, pop culture and the current lifestyle market and its influences
You are great at silhouettes, fit, colors and collection building
Strong visual communicator of ideas through inspiring and informative visual presentations
Creative with strong curious and forward thinking mindset
High level Adobe suite skills
Must have good CLO 3D knowledge/work experience
Strong salesmanship and commercial thinking
Team player and can also work independently
You multitask with ease and can work at a high pace, unafraid of hard work in intense periods of various projects
Organized and structured
You see only possibilities, look for improvements and favor simple solutions
Fluency in English (Swedish not necessary)
