Arbetsbeskrivning
At Epidemic Sound we are reinventing the music industry. Our carefully curated catalog, with over 35,000 tracks, is tailored for storytellers, streaming services, and in-store soundtracks. Countless clients around the world, from broadcasters, production companies, DSPs, and YouTubers rely on our tracks to help them tell their stories. Epidemic Sound’s music is heard in hundreds of millions of online videos daily, across millions of playlist streams, and in thousands of in-store locations. Headquartered in Stockholm, we’re spread across offices in New York City, Los Angeles, Seoul, Hamburg, and Amsterdam. We’re growing fast, have lots of fun, and are taking the music industry with us.
We are looking for a Junior Channel Coordinator who will be an important part of building Epidemic's own YouTube channels targeting music listeners. You will be responsible for maintaining and following a publishing schedule of hundreds of videos that we upload each month and exporting these videos based on a template.
You take pride in getting the job done, having excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to tweak and do improvements along the way. Previous experience and knowledge is good, but most importantly is that you are excited for being an important key player when it comes to the foundation of growing our ecosystem of music channels.
You would be a part of Epidemic Sound’s social media team that currently consists of platform specialists, content coordinators, and engagement specialists. You will work dedicated to our presence on YouTube in a small team.
Your tasks would include
- Source tracks and artworks and export as videos using an Adobe After Effects template
- Upload, schedule and publish videos where we follow a publishing schedule
- Manage and oversee our YouTube livestreams to make sure they are up and running
- Actively listen through new tracks together with the rest of the team working with YouTube during our scheduling meetings
- Curate our music into context-based mixes by using insights from our community and data, as well as mirroring albums released on our website
- Take a part in developing new concepts for our Youtube channels together with the rest of the team
- Support the whole team in collecting statistics from the channels
- Bulk update metadata and similar tasks to optimize our YouTube channel
We believe that we would be looking for someone that
- Has interest in YouTube as a platform and social media growth
- Has some experience with administrative work or similar
- Have a problem-solving mindset, but do not hesitate to enlist the help of other team members when needed
- See a value on working efficiently and carefully, with an eye for detail and constantly how we can improve the processes
- Are able to work independently, especially considering the covid situation and that we all currently are working from home
- Set a pride in being able to deliver according to a set schedule, as well as flexible when it comes to prioritized tasks
- Can work independently and see a value in even smaller tasks, as this is what lays the foundation for our entire ecosystem of music channels on YouTube
- Preferably have some basic knowledge and experience working with editing softwares such as Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro
We understand that all candidates possess a unique set of skills. This list should be seen only as a reference. We want to find the right person for the team and believe that you can gain relevant experience through different kinds of journeys. Don't hesitate to apply if some of it doesn't feel 100% fitting to you.
