We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of a Kafka Developer with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.


Key Responsibilities:
As a senior Kafka developer, you will work within ICoE and provide support for our Kafka platform. You will assist application teams with onboarding and design of their solutions as well as troubleshooting their problems as needed.


Training and marketing for our Kafka platform will be a big part of your responsibilities, but there will also be a lot of internal development around self-service tools on top of Kafka that fit in with the existing ICoE solutions.


The primary responsibilities will be:
Support for applications on their Kafka journey
Develops both the backend and the frontend
Assists in the creation of the backlog





Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
Node.js backend development
Java backend development
REST API consumption and creation experience
PostgreSQL experience working with relational databases.
Working experience in a Scrum team.
Docker and Kubernetes experience is required.
Event streaming experience with Apache Kafka.
Understanding of software architecture, integration concepts, and integration patterns is required.
Leading developers' ability to communicate with stakeholders.
Scrum is a software development methodology that includes analysing features and stories as well as talking with users to understand their needs.
Write high-quality code on both the frontend and the backend, as well as concepts such as code review, pull requests, device testing, and the tools and technologies that enable this.
Continuous integration and continuous commissioning are terms used interchangeably.
Believer who is agile, motivated, and has a positive attitude.
Capability to work well in groups.

Qualifications required:
Azure DevOps experience
Experience with frameworks such as Express, Spring Boot, Vue.js, and React.js Frontend development with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Logging and monitoring are handled by the ELK and TICK stacks.
