The Role
We are seeking a Key Account Manager. We offer you an exciting possibility to join our fantastic team creating tomorrows solutions for personalized therapies and medicine, making peoples life’s better. You will be responsible for revenue generation and thus company growth, by selling directly to Key Accounts. Commercial development on appointed Key Accounts is the key task at hand.
The successful candidate will have a solid experience of engaging commercially and directly with Key Accounts.
General: You will prospect and engage with customers in the Research, Hospital and Biotechnology industry. You will drive sales efforts, gain interest, negotiate business contracts and oversee them up to settlement.
Specific: The Key Account Manager is responsible for developing and managing new and existing key account customer relationships. Overseeing the existing account portfolio under contract and driving growth / share of wallet development is also a critical task for this role. The right candidate needs to be a team oriented, “hands on” commercial professional operating with a strong sense of ownership, with accountability for annual growth plan commitments. This role is also considered critical for BioLamina’s growth strategy and must have the seniority, vision, drive and interpersonal skills to succeed in a rapid growth environment.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Develop and maintain strategic long-term relationships with key accounts.
Accountable for annual operating plan commitments including new business expansion.
Monitor existing customer contracts and work to pursue contractual obligations and commitments.
Drive portfolio management with partners, develop fee schedules and statements of work.
Evaluate customer requests and maintain high service levels with timely responses to pricing, volume, issue resolution and support activity.
Schedule and coordinate quarterly business reviews, monitor established performance metrics and scorecard reports with key accounts and internal cross functional team meetings.
Key account performance reporting and frequent communication to the senior leadership team
Assist in the preparation and delivery of business/technical/capability presentations.
Research and identify new potential customer opportunities.
Lead negotiation processes and close new and renewal business.

Qualifications
B.S. degree in Scientific Field required.
Able to travel + 35 days per year.
2-5 years of experience in the stem cell or a related industry with a solid understanding of technical matters, product development processes, regulatory frameworks, operations and supply chain.
More than 10 years of working experience whereof at least five years from roles with significant commercial responsibility; responsible for revenue generation in a Key Account context.
Business acumen, acquired by academic or professional experience, sufficient to own and understand business key performance indicators and their drivers, for BioLamina and for customers.
Professional level in English
Strong routine when it comes to driving complex sales projects with multi stakeholder dynamics (technology, R&D, business, finance).
Advanced level skills in Microsoft Office suite

As a person you are a team player, focused, energetic, shows initiative and enjoys a fast pace.
Location
The office is in central Sundbyberg, Stockholm, with good communications through public transportation (SL), e.g. subway, light railway, and commuter trains. There are also indoor parking opportunities available.
