GLOBAL KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER
We are seeking a KAM for one of our Scandinavian customers in Kongsberg, Driver Control Systems (DCS), who will be responsible for the total business relationship between the customer and KA globally. The KAM is responsible to improve customer intimacy with all relevant functions and to secure implementation of agreed strategies. Main focus is to increase sales along with KAs growth strategy and to meet or exceed the sales objectives set for the customer.


Main objectives:
. Continuously developing sales plan and result by identifying new business opportunities and ways to improve the margins on current portfolio, by price increases and cost reductions
. Actively take lead to ensure that KA increases its sales of work developed products to reach the strategic objectives of the company
. Carefully follow model and platform changes and understand what it means to existing business and new opportunities, with special attention to shift in technologies
. To follow up price and cost levels to ensure that KA receives best possible pricing by using Value Based Pricing Strategy
. To initiate and follow up negotiations to ensure orders on given quotations
. Safeguard present business and product portfolio to prepare for next product technologies
. Draft and present customer plans as a basis for sales & marketing activities and establishment of priorities


Areas of responsibility:
. Further develop the customer by increase of new business and products
. Prepare quote reviews and quotes and monitor quotations by following up continuously at customer to support with additional information, take counter measures or make adjustments in order to lock the business
. Report in monthly sales reviews with VP S&M and execute actions and directions agreed
. Understand and efficiently communicate customer requirements and position vs KA
. Prepare top line for RF and STP with clear overview of assumptions, SOP, EOP, ramp ups, LTAs etc
. Lead the KA customer focus team and secure optimal and cross functional coordination and understanding of targets, goals and tactics to reach them


Competence profile:
Education:
. Master degree within commercial or technical oriented education
. Bachelor degree with extensive experience from the automotive industry

Experience and skills:
. Commercial and/or technical experience from the automotive industry
. Ability to write and speak 2-3 languages
. Ability to get on with all kind of people in all kind of situations
. Interest and ability in commercial matters, negotiations and people
