About the position

As Key Account Manager your main focus will be to approach prospects and finding new customers, but you will also be responsible for some existing customers. Understanding customer needs and generating tailor-made solutions mainly within air, ocean and rail is an important part of the job.

Your main responsibilities will include:

- Book and conduct meetings with prospects and existing customers
- Building of your own pipeline
- Present GEODIS and our services in a positive and professional way
- Build and maintain customer relationships
- Reach sales budget and goals
- Contribute to your team's development and improvement of routines and processes


This is a permanent position, starting after agreement. You will belong to the Gothenburg office and cover the Gothenburg area. The position includes frequent travels within in the region, and occasionally also within the country. You report directly to our Sales Manager and you are part of the Swedish Business Development team. You will have a close cooperation with your colleagues in the sales team for Gothenburg area, Operations, Product and Branch manager. Together, you will work towards common goals and aiming to expand our business within your territory.

Your profile

To succeed in this role, we believe that you have a post-secondary school degree within a relevant field or equivalent experience from a similar position . You have some years’ experience of working with complex solution selling (B2B) with documented good results, preferably within the freight forwarding industry. In previous sales roles, your focus has been finding new customers. Since we are an international company, you need to have professional communication skills both in English and Swedish.
