We are looking for a Key Account Manager Pharma, with responsiblity for the Nordic Region, to join our team!
Your mission will be to develop and expand a portfolio of pharma customers. You will build strong relationships between the customers and Univar Solutions, identify needs, and lead the sales cycle from start to finish. You will also identify and bring in new business, evolve our ways of working, and add your own touch. We will provide a solid introduction, great colleagues, and ample opportunity to grow and development.

What does the team look like?
You will belong to an European team with your colleagues in EMEA, and Manager in Zurich. At the office in Malmö, you find the Nordic headquarter with 80 colleagues in different business units. We have a wide variety of backgrounds and span all generations of the current job market.
What does a Key Account Manager Pharma do at Univar Solutions?
Your main focus is to run and grow the assigned part of the pharmaceutical business in the Nordic territory. Most of our customers are based around Stockholm, Oslo and in Skåne.
You manage the full sales cycle, from creating the initial leads up to implementation of contract and maintaining customer relations throughout the life cycle. You will position Univar Solutions as a most valuable supplier through a professional approach, service-oriented mindset and your ability to identify customer needs.
Your daily working tasks will include:

Develop strong relationships with customers and collaborators to find solutions to complex customer needs within pharmaceutical production.


Creating new sales leads and carry out contract negotiations


Documentation in our CRM-system Sales Force


Continuously keeping updated about the product and market


Prepare and be responsible for market budget / sales prognosis in your dedicated markets


Our office is in Malmö and there you will be part of the Nordic Team and collaborate with customer service, sales manager and product managers within Univar Solutions organisation. You will report directly to the Area Business Manager Pharma, Maurice Kunz who is based in Zurich and will be part of a team with 7 other Pharma colleagues.
You work independently and work can be done from our office in Malmö or your home office. You will also spend time meeting customers onsite. This will lead to some degree of travelling. However, the planning around it is up to you. The position includes around 80 days of travelling per year.
Who might you be?
To be successful in this position, we expect you to be goal-oriented, bring a lot of power of initiative, and have the ability to gain the trust of the people you communicate with.
You have a strong track record within B2B sales and are motivated by working with multiple stakeholders across different industries. Experience of working in the pharma industry and in an international environment is advantageous.
You have a post-secondary or a university degree preferably in pharmaceutical, chemical science or equivalent.
What else? Since communication is key to this position, full professional proficiency in Swedish or another Scandinavian language is a requirement, as well as confidence in English (written and spoken). Driver’s licence is required.
