We are currently seeking a Key Account Manager for EU and Asian Pacific to join our Sales team in Gothenburg, Sweden.
Medical X-ray diagnostics is a very powerful technology. Therefore, it must be quality assured (QA) on a regular basis. RTI develops and sells the most advanced hardware and software solutions for QA of medical X-ray diagnostics. Our mission is to let people benefit from medical X-ray safely.
About the role
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing sales to key customers in Europe and Asia Pacific. You will work closely with the VP of Sales, the Sales team, and RTI distributors to develop and execute strategic customer plans, grow new business, and maintain existing accounts. You will also be part of the Sales management team and report to the VP of Sales. You will be expected to travel 3 days per week to meet with customers and prospects in the field, and also participate in annual exhibitions.
Independently schedule and establish your customer meetings for active presence with clients.
Identify new customers and business opportunities as well as manage existing customer base in Europe and Asia Pacific.
Independently participate in customer visits to maintain close ties and connections with key decision makers for the relevant areas.
Build long-term relationships with customers and execute sales via RTI distributors.
Drive and be responsible for price and terms negotiations and act as a demander.
Establish frameworks for agreements with customers.
Actively collaborate with colleagues around the world.
About you
We believe you have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related field. You have at least 5 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management, preferably in the medical device industry or High-tech industry with durable products. To be successful you have a proven track record of achieving sales targets and growing key accounts via channels as distributors and partners. You are fluent in English and preferably one other European or Asian language and have a willingness to travel extensively within Europa and Asia Pacific.

Your technical knowledge and experience make it easy for you to communicate with our customers and achieve results.
