Sudio, develops, manufacture and market headphones and speakers. Sudio stands for Swedish Audio and it’s our mission to combine the beauty of Scandinavian design with the best technology to create the ideal companion for any occasion.
Sudio has grown over 100% year on year since we launched in 2015. We are a fast -growing with our products selling in +40 markets. We are currently 32 employees in the Stockholm office. In 2019 we have opened over 3000 retailers in Europe alone and are currently on an all time high turnover.
About the role
Last year Sudio grew again with over 100%, opened over 4000 retailers, and sold more than 300 000 headphones. Driving this was our fantastic sales team. They work with our retailers and distributors to get our products into the hands of our consumers. But they’re more than that. They’re a central part of Sudio’s goal, to become a top 5 headphone brand globally. We are now looking for a Nordic Key Account Manager to join the team.
The main responsibility of the role is to drive sales and manage partners within the Nordic and Baltic region. The region has grown 200% in 2019 and is currently the largest market globally. The role is vital in our success in the Nordics and important in our longer strategy. Reporting to Head of Sales, you will need a combination of an entrepreneurial mindset and a drive to build business. Key responsibilities
As a Nordic Key Account Manager, your aim will be to improve Sudio’s market position and achieve growth with existing and new accounts. You will build key customer relationships, establish strong customer plans that cover the product portfolio and includes marketing and promotional activity, revenue and volume. You will also identify new business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals and maintain extensive knowledge of current market conditions. All sales are to be followed up through retrieving and evaluating market and customer data and the candidate is at all times expected to strive for Sudio as a whole and focus on growing the brand.
Who are we looking for?
• At least 3 years of sales experience in Consumer Electronics and/or Telecom environment with an established network and industry influence.
• Proven track record of building strong and strategic business relationships with retail and/or distributor partners
• Experience of working in an international environment, developing sales plans and leading execution, preferably within the retail industry
• An outgoing personality with a passion for business, winning, people and product technology
• Strong numeric and planning skills and ability to develop, implement and manage complete account business and promotional plans
• Great communication skills in English
