Local Unit & Position Description
DNV Business Assurance is one of the world’s leading certification bodies. In Sweden, the Business Assurance team consists of approx. 50 employees, who are located at our offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. Our Sales team consists of 8 people that work alongside other marketing and training professionals.

Responsibilities / Scope
To succeed in this role, you will be expected to manage our growing portfolio of customers in the management certification business and develop new business. Responsible for your own sales budget, you will manage some Key Accounts and will be responsible for finding new ones. In this position, you will manage negotiations and renegotiations of contracts with our customers.


Additional responsibilities are:
Growing and keeping own sales pipeline for all customer segments
Following up on leads from marketing campaigns
Calling our existing customers and keeping the relationship warm
Forming a strong pipeline of opportunities, entering data in CRM and keeping it up-to-date with respect to both close dates, probabilities and values
Calculation and preparation of quotes
Proactive calling of prospects and self-generated target
Conducting customer meetings and selling our solutions
Overall responsibility for relationships and cooperation with selected Key Customers
Developing relationships, handling offers and sales to Customers
Proactively nurturing our existing customers by growing relations and managing customer satisfaction
Managing tenders
Managing data in our CRM system



Position Qualifications
Strong salespeople have very different backgrounds in our sector. You can have educational background coming from the technical side or from the commercial business side. The right candidate has the perfect balance between a commercial mindset, a customer-focused approach and a good technical understanding of complex business environments.
The right candidate has either a proven track record in a similar role with sales and/or customer service or technical background with a strong commercial mindset and experience in business development or technical selling.
We expect that you have experience working with CRM systems, SharePoint and Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Our services are a highly specialized product that requires you to have good abilities to communicate and sell the value of certifications.
It’s not a condition that you have experience with certifications - most important of all is that you know your sales tools and have the ability to engage in a professional environment with a great focus to meet a variety of requirements for our products. You will of course get a thorough education in our services and will participate in courses where you learn our strategy, services and markets.

Personal skills
We are looking primarily for a real customer-focused person who has a personal drive for sales, is outgoing and proactive. You can work independently and in a team with the other sales executives in the department.
You must have a positive and constructive attitude.

We expect that you:
Are results-oriented and focused on achieving your goals - as well as your team’s goal
Have minimum 5 years of experience within technical sales, in either a consultancy, Health & Safety or compliance capacity
Have high school diploma as a minimum
Can work in a structured way with your customers and sales activities
Are proactive, positive and are looking to grow within a sales department, and are target-driven
Have a constructive, solution-oriented attitude and are good at solving problems
Can work under pressure and can handle challenges in cooperation with others
Work in accordance with DNV values
Have strong analytical and communication skills
Are fluent in (written and oral) both Swedish and English
Have strong sales skills with a proven track record
