Within this role you'll be supporting and reporting into the CSD (Customer Service Director)
You will develop techniques and procedures for organising, locating, and enabling access to relevant knowledge and expertise required to address specific business tasks in our knowledge base. Additionally, you will be responsible for creating governance and standards across the various teams, workflows and integrated apps. An ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment and has a background in leading content and information architecture strategy across an organization.
As a Knowledge Base Manager, you will define the content/knowledge management strategy and lead the content architecture and strategy. The role will focus on developing, auditing, and maintaining high quality content for employees.
Requirements
Minimum of 3 years experience in a Knowledge base role, preferably in an international company, working with cross cultural teams
The position is Work At Home, with payroll based in Ireland but your physical location can be in Europe, with a preference for Germany, Poland, Czechia or France and have your own eligibility to work and travel (with no restriction throughout Europe)
Advanced computer skills in Microsoft packages
Experience with Zendesk (optional)
Excellent organizational skills with proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and to adjust to frequent changes in project priorities
Committed to excellence in customer experience
Excellent communication skills (writing and oral) in English (must) plus another language (optional, French or German preferred)
As a technical writer or content designer for multiple projects
With information architecture and content management systems
Working with subject matter experts to understand topics in detail
Writing clearly and concisely for readers who are busy or distracted
Taking complex technical process and explaining them simply and clearly
