WHO YOU ARE
Do you have a strong passion for knowledge-sharing and get energized by driving cross-functional learning and being a part of the whole process from idea and analysis to development, production, facilitation and final evaluation?
We are looking for an experienced Knowledge Leader who will be able to maintain and run our existing global learning programmes and global onboarding journey, and at the same time identify and drive new competence development opportunities in the Ingka Expansion matrix.
For this we believe you have proven experience working with organisational learning anchored in educational models and methodologies as well as communication with a minimum of five years of working within retail or a similar industry. Your learning solutions are designed and delivered with leadership, management, business and personal progression and best practice in mind, aligned with the organisation objectives.
You act as the go to within the business for anyone with questions or queries regarding learning and development needs. Build trustful relationships by working closely with various leaders across the organisation and secure a full understanding of their units and learning and development requirements. Embracing different styles of learning formats, including but not limited to e-learning, tutorial sessions and coaching. You have the awareness of allocated budget and have the ability to find solutions in order to implement required training. When needed you connect with 3rd party training providers. You are able to communicate verbally, visually and in writing in an inspirational way with an understanding for the need of IKEA tone of voice. You are also used to leading and influencing teams and enjoy working in a multicultural environment.
You have knowledge of:
- How to develop and follow processes for learning initiatives as well as project leading them from an end to end perspective
- How to systematically create, capture, share, manage and utilize knowledge and learning throughout an organization
- Learning design, content production and best practices for creating, publishing, and editing content from a user centric point of view
- The MS Office Suite with extensive experience in Teams, PPT, Excel, Word, SharePoint, Sway, Forms and Stream- and be comfortable with using various tools for learning creation and delivery such as Articulate 360, Menti, Video editing tools, learning management systems and digital brainstorming tools
- How to collaborate, organize and store information on common digital platforms
- How to work with graphical profiling in relation to learning solutions
- Evaluation methods for learning such as the Kirkpatrik model and transform learning results into future opportunities for improvement
- How to create and follow up on learning KPI’s
- How to develop, create and implement change initiatives and manage stakeholders
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
As Knowledge Leader, you are accountable for the total knowledge and learning management within the Expansion matrix at Ingka and to lead the dynamic development of skills and capabilities needed in the matrixes to deliver into the Expansion Agenda and Ingka Business Plan.
You will further:
- be in the lead for an end-to-end solution from idea and analysis to development, production, facilitation and evaluation
- be responsible to secure and enable that existing knowledge and experiences are managed in such a way that fosters social and experience-based learning
- be responsible to continuously address that knowledge, skills and capabilities relevant to Expansion is shared, developed and integrated into our business
- encourage business leaders to identify future knowledge and competence needs within Expansion
- be responsible for designing and producing in-house learning content
- be accountable to maintain, continue to develop our digital learning platforms and their content, follow-up on the use of the content, as well as secure target group relevance
- act as a 'first responder' to countries when they have questions related to knowledge and learning
- follow-up on implementation & utilization of best practices and on new ideas related to learning and learning development
- take lead in working across functions within Ingka Group and collaborate with other IKEA units around the topic of knowledge and learning management
- take lead in driving an open and sharing climate, being a role model of the IKEA values
- lead positive change, and contribute to building a more unique, inclusive, and accessible IKEA - guided by the People and Planet Positive commitments
This role will report to Business Transformation Manager and will be based in Malmö. Some travel may be included in the role.

With the customer at the heart of everything we do, Group Expansion takes responsibility for strategic expansion planning enabling penetration of existing and new markets. We take the lead for business development of existing and new customer meeting points. We act on business needs and empower the markets to maximize accessibility, implement our retailing concepts and fully utilize our assets in the new world of IKEA – all at lowest cost, with economy of scale and sustained profitability. Additionally, Group Expansion delivers centralised planning for new customer meeting points, major rebuilds and the conversion of stores to include fulfillment capabilities.
