Get an idea of the role

We are currently looking for a sharp and engaged Linux- and Kubernetes administrator who has knowledge and an interest of working with container technique. For this role, we are looking for a structured person who thrives within a role of complex problem solving. The scope of the role includes planning, commissioning, monitoring, troubleshooting, configuration and optimization of the components within the product area. Furthermore, you will be part of projects and investigations related to set-ups/configurations of technical environments. In this role, we offer an opportunity for the right person to contribute and come up with suggestions for improvement in several areas.

This role will be part of Resurs IT Core Systems team that consist of a number of highly engaged specialists within Linux, Kubernetets, and AWS. You will be reporting directly to our IT Core Systems Manager, Maria.

On a personal level

In order to be successful in the role, you are a person with a strong sense of ownership and a willingness to learn. You are customer obsessed and have a great appreciation for team work and collaboration.

We believe you have at least 3-5 years of experience of system operation / large scale operation, especially within Linux. You have a structured way of working and the ability to juggle several processes simultaneously. You feel comfortable and have a “know how” of how to document technical set-ups in a structured and understandable way.

The following requirements are important for the role

- An academic degree within IT or and/or 3-5 years of work experience within related area
- Technical knowledge in Container technique, Openshift/Kubernetes
- Previous experience of configuration in Ansible, Salt or equal
- Knowledge and experience of working with Git for version control
- Extensive knowledge of MongoDB/Elastic/PostgreSQL
- Proficiency in English
- A Swedish working permit if you are a non-Nordic citizen
- Knowledge in Python/Ruby/Perl or similar is a merit
