Lab Service Area Manager, Server & Network Operation in Sollentuna

We are currently looking for passionate experienced and result-oriented candidates for the role of Lab Service Area Manager Server Operation and Network Operation with a professional background and exemplary concepts to join our team.




Key Responsibilities:
The candidate will act as the IT unit in charge of server and network operations, as well as managing, developing, budgeting, and supplier control in these areas.


In the municipality's delivery of server operation and network services, well-executed management efforts and some project management. This is in order to succeed with high-quality IT deliveries and good collaboration with the municipality and suppliers' organisations.




Education, Expertise, and experience requirements:
Competency prerequisites for the applicant:
The consultant must have worked on similar projects before.
Two references must be able to be provided upon request; these can be both external assignments and Sollentuna municipality assignments.
Working in a municipal organisation provides valuable experience.
At least one of these and some knowledge of the other is required.
Good experience managing, planning, developing, and budgeting IT infrastructure in outsourced IT operations in the areas of Server Operations and Network Operations.



Should necessitate in-depth knowledge of server operation:
Server capacity and operation - Server virtualization
Servers for hardware
Use of the application
Database management
Web server functionality
Exchange - Active Directory
Acknowledgements
Backup and storage
Domains and DNS management
Management of the entire life cycle
Contract interpretation experience in complex IT agreements.
With the help of ITIL, PM3, and/or similar governance frameworks, you should have good knowledge and experience with supplier management.
Work on the budget in the aforementioned areas.
Office 365 / Azure knowledge
Support / Service Desk Experience
Supplier management experience in outsourced operations
Certification in ITIL, PM3, or similar frameworks is available.
IT architecture expertise
Administration manager / system administrator experience



Knowledge of network operations in depth:
Networking hardware such as switches and access points
Fibre optic services
Local Area Networks (LANs)/Property Networks - Property networks and fibre services
VLAN, LAN, WAN, DHC, routing
DDOS/Web filter/firewall, VPN, and other security services
