The product Compliance department is part of the function “Production Governance and Compliance” at our Global Supply Chain organization. Within the function, we aim to deliver consistent product quality that our customers love and strive to ensure compliant products in all markets.
Product Compliance is responsible for setting legal requirements and routines for all products sold by the H&M Group, in all countries and channels in line with the local legislation and a precautionary principle. This includes product safety, labelling, and chemical- and physical test demands. By supporting several parts of our business with our expertise, we contribute to the overall customer experience.
We are now looking for a labelling specialist in our team who together with other specialists, will be accountable for securing legal label requirements for various consumer products in our assortment across all markets.
The main responsibilities of the role include:
Responsible for product labelling compliance in all countries and for all brands within the
H&M group.
Research, challenge and evaluate labelling requirements in relation to H&M product range.
Drive developments in H&M tech systems e.g. PLM and alike to enable the labelling
compliance flow.
Set, implement, and update labelling guidelines.
Proactively identify and communicate potential risks as well as solutions.
Support queries relating to labelling from production and buying offices.
Ensure that all stakeholders are kept informed about the new/updated labelling requirements.
Qualifications
Strong interest in researching labelling laws, directives, and regulations.
Experience in the production or labelling of consumer products.
Experience with tech systems like PLM connected to consumer products.
Experience in project leadership.
Ability to condense complex information into simplified and workable routines.
Good networking skills and enjoys working in teams.
Good written and verbal English communication skills.
Responsible team player.
Takes initiative and acts proactively.
