About the Role
As Labor Relations Manager, you work broadly and variedly with a focus on both operational and strategic tasks. Along with the HR Director and other expert functions within HR, you are part of the HR management team for the Nordic region, and you are expected to contribute to the function´s overall priorities and goals. You have many contact points and a wide network in the company among managers and other HR stakeholders, as well as with union representatives and employer´s organizations. Your duties will include providing ongoing advice on labor law issues, act as a negotiation party, actively pursuing trade union collaboration, holding internal training sessions and contribute to the development of personnel policies within the organization. You act as a subject matter expert in everything related to labor law and trade union relations.
The role is located at Nouyron Nordic Business Center in Gothenburg and reports to HR Director Technology Solutions and Nordic region.
Examples of tasks:
Build strong and long-term relationships with union representatives and the workers' organization.
Independently run forums for group-wide trade union collaboration and group-wide trade union negotiation.
Monitoring of laws and contract changes as well as conducting projects related to labor law to ensure qualitative processes and legal requirements.
Give support and advise HR Business Partners and managers in contract and personnel matters, negotiations and interpretation of collective agreements.
Train the organization and managers on labor law, the Swedish model and our collective agreement.
Strategic work within the area of union collaboration and employer policy work.
Represent Nouyron and the industry's interests in relation to the employer organization (IKEM).
Your background
To be successful in this role, we believe that you are an experienced professional at expert level within the area of labor law. We further believe that you come from a similar role within an industrial employer organization or other private or public operations. You thrive in a business environment and can easily understand and engage in different business contexts. Previous consulting experience in this area is desirable. You are an excellent communicator (verbal and written) and strong at building relationships and networks. Our business language is English why it is important that you speak and write English fluently.
You have an academic education in law, economics, personnel or equivalent with a focus on labor law.
To be a great fit, we think you need to have a consultative approach, be passionate about your field and have a good business understanding. You need to be able to lead the work as an expert from a strategic perspective and at the same time have a good ability to explain labor law matters in a pedagogical way. You are structured and goal oriented with a strong belief that all individuals can develop to their full potential. You have the ability to view the organization from different perspectives with a focus on people, customers and business.
