Astra Zeneca Presentation We are now looking for a research/senior research scientist to LO Screening Sciences at AstraZeneca in Mölndal. LO Screening Sciences is part of the Molecular Medicine section within Bioscience. The team is responsible for delivery of high quality compound screening in primary and secondary assays for projects in LO phase. The assignment is for nine months starting no later than the 1st of May. Arbetsuppgifter You will be responsible for activity screening of compounds in receptor-, enzyme- and/or ion channel assays run as primary screens in the LO projects using automated and semi-automated screening in 96- and 384-well plate formats. You will also be part of optimization, validation and automation of new assays. Utbildning/erfarenhet We are looking for a research scientist with previous experience from compound screening and in vitro assays. You should have an academic degree in biochemistry, cell biology or pharmacology. Very good computing- and data handling skills are needed for data analyses. You also need to contribute to the teamwork through a positive, problem solving attitude, excellent communication skills and a flexible way of working.
